About Revin
Hello, my name is Revin Concessao, and I’m a 16-year-old aspiring concert violinist. I began learning the violin at the age of 6 with different teachers typically coming from the Royal College of Music or the Yehudi Menuhin School, and since then I’ve been fortunate to achieve several milestones in my musical journey: Achieved Distinction in ABRSM Grades - all before the age of 10, Awarded a full scholarship to the National Children’s Orchestra (NCO), Member of NYO Inspire + London Schools Symphony Orchestra (LSSO) and the Chineke! Junior Orchestra, Performed as a soloist at events including the North London Festival, Selected at age 12 to tour Europe and perform in prestigious venues such as the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) + Konzerthaus (Berlin) and KKL Lucerne (Switzerland), Peformed at the Royal Albert Hall, Offered a place at Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Alongside my violin studies, I’ve worked closely with pianists from the beginning of my training. I’m also the brother of the pianist Rhys Concessao, whose teaching lineage traces back to Beethoven and Liszt. I am classically trained and have a lot of performance experience. I’d love to help you reach your full musical potential — whether you're preparing for exams, performances, or simply looking to grow as a violinist.

My lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate violinists. I'm offering private lessons to help you improve pieces you're already working on—whether for an audition, recital, performance, or exam. I’ll work with you to develop your technique and help you achieve the best sound you can produce. My lessons are also great for complete beginners who need guidance on the fundamentals of violin like the posture and bow hold as well as the basic technique. Lessons are £20 per hour. Perfect! Revin is a great instructor. He provided me with a lot of notes and good guidance on how I should keep improving after the lesson. I liked his approach - he really made me think about the bow mechanics. I will definitely be reaching out for more sessions - would recommend!
