About Samuel
As stated before, I have trained under the School of Sacramento Ballet for 14 years, since age 4. I have performed in, and learned the basics and most of my ballet acting skills from, the Sacramento Ballet's Nutcracker every year for 14 years (with the exception of one year due to the pandemic). Under the school, I have performed various roles in their year-end recitals/performances. This ranges from a small goblin/orc in Midsummer's Night Dream, a double grand pas of Peasant Pas from Giselle, the male partner for Paquita's Pas de Trois, a madman from excerpts of Coppelia by Jorge Laico, Bluebird grand pas from a summarized version of Sleeping Beauty. My technique and artistry are mostly of classical ballet taught by the various directors of the school and added upon by my time in summer intensives at Pacific Northwest Ballet and Ballet Met.

My method of teaching is a combination of all of the technique I have obtained while under the School of Sacramento Ballet. A typical class or tutoring will have a warm-up of sorts. Next, we will go onto barre, and start simple depending on your technique level. After some center work and/or jumps, we will work on whatever you wish to focus on. In terms of ballet, I have a great deal of experience with honing my own technique and have been able to provide advice for younger boys that was originally passed down to me. These classes are for ages 4-15/16. Any and all techniques are welcome, though I was originally trained primarily classically. I'm not as educated with Balanchine or certain specialty techniques used by places such as School of American Ballet.
