About Suellen
I am currently a Trainee Solicitor working in-house at a world-leading aviation services company.
I completed my postgraduate degree in law (LLM LPC) at Nottingham Law School where I am due to graduate with a Commendation, which included my LLM dissertation where I achieved an 81% mark.
I graduated from Nottingham Law School with a high 2.1 in International Law LLB whereby I covered different aspects of both domestic and international law. I achieved 1st class grades in my international law modules which include (but are not limited to) international criminal law and international trade law. I also produced a 1st class undergraduate dissertation. As part of my undergraduate, I studied international law under world leading academics whilst studying at University of Padova.
I have attended summer schools and courses on: Digital and Cyber Law; Maritime Law; Mergers and Acquisitions; International Criminal Law; and Diplomacy and Law.
I have been providing legal tutoring for 4 years.

In the first lesson I like to find out a little bit more about you. This would involve a conversation to find about what learning methods work for you, what your goals are and what is your current level of knowledge.
The way that we will structure the tutoring will depend on what works for you. Although I like to have a structure and a timetable with clear goals and milestones that we want to reach, how we get there will depend on the student as I like to tailor my approach to ensure that the students learn, and understand what it is they are doing, why they are doing it, and how to apply that knowledge.
During the lessons I generally like to cover the key points and cases on the topic and then go on to look at case studies and exam-focused questions.
I will try my best to support you both academically and mentally. I can offer you advice on matters such as dealing with nerves, concerns, exam worries, revision techniques as well as career advice and both CV and application review and amendment.
