About Chloe

My current teaching role is based in a local primary school and includes cover teaching all areas of the curriculum to students ranging from Foundation Stage to Upper Key Stage 2. I am responsible for planning, preparing and presenting lessons that not only follow the national curriculum framework, but were also enthusiastic and imaginative so that they cater for the needs of the whole ability range within a class. In addition to this role, I am currently enrolled on an Open University course where I am studying for a BA Honours Degree. My goal once I graduate is to become a qualified school teacher. I have found that that tutoring students, whilst pursuing my studies provides valuable knowledge and back ground experience that helps with my own assignments and professional development.

About the lesson

I provide a creative and enthusiastic approach to tutoring and supporting the educational development of children and adults. My hands on teaching style has led to many positive student outcomes, such as improved grades, retention of subject material and increased pass rates in examinations. A key part of my career is helping students to reach their full potential, this can be challenging as everybody learns in different ways and at different paces. The joy of tutoring means that I can get to know my students learning style and prepare, plan and present lessons through learning material that suits each individuals learning technique and style. This is an efficient method as it ensures that the student can fully understand, retain and learn the lesson material at a pace that suits them.

I currently provide tutoring support of all subjects to students studying in Foundation Stage, KS1 and KS2. I also offer English Language, English Literature and History support to children and adults who are studying at KS3 and KS4.
