About Albert
Open mics were where I first started teaching. People kept asking how I managed my sound, so I started explaining the craft.
My path led from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood to 6 years of gigging across the South. Acoustic guitar is a lifestyle. I have spent 13 years refining my ability to teach rhythm guitar and complex strumming patterns. Blues progressions are my specialty.
Reading sheet music is essential for clarity. I also focus on ear training and guitar maintenance. Let us make some noise.

Struggling with tuning is actually a sign of progress. Most players ignore the basics of maintenance to their own detriment. My method starts with a diagnostic skills check. This helps us build a custom plan for intermediate and returning learners.
We work through strumming and ear training together. It is about understanding the protest song tradition. You will gain control over your instrument.
