About Peter
I'm a student-focused instructor with, literally, decades of training experience (coupled with years of experience as a student, myself, so I understand the demands on people learning to become software developers). In addition to being a programmer for over 40 years, I've specialized in the .NET technologies since the platform was first released and have leveraged that experience to earn multiple Azure certifications in security, architecture, and solution development.

Programming isn't just about knowing the syntax of the language - especially with the new crop of AI driven tools: Programming is about knowing what to do first, what to do next, and how to know if you're doing it right. And teaching isn't about knowing the topic (though that's essential): it's also about knowing how the student understands and crafting the tutoring experience to the student's unique needs. That's the foundation of my student-focused teaching style in software development: helping people understand both what needs to be done and how to do it.
