One-Month Life Coaching Lesson Plan (1 Hour Each)
Objective: Over the course of a month, the goal is to equip clients with tools for stress management, positive psychology, personal development, and conflict management. Each session will build on the previous one, helping clients implement strategies and track progress in their personal and professional lives.
 Week 1: Introduction to Stress Management and Positive Psychology Objective: Introduce stress management techniques and positive psychology practices.
 Welcome & Overview
Brief introduction to the importance of stress management and positive psychology in daily life. Understanding Stress
 Discuss how stress affects the body and mind. Identify common stress triggers. Stress Management Techniques
Teach 4-7-8 breathing and mindfulness practices to reduce stress.
Discuss practical methods for managing stress in day-to-day situations. Introduction to Positive Psychology Define positive psychology and its focus on strengths, gratitude, and optimism. Practice a gratitude exercise (e.g., listing three things you’re grateful for). Strengths identification:
Introduce VIA Character Strengths Survey (optional) or self-reflection to identify personal strengths.
Wrap-Up & Reflection
Reflect on what resonated most during the session.
Encourage journaling daily gratitude and stress management practice. Homework: Practice mindfulness or stress-reduction techniques at least once per day. Keep a gratitude journal for the week.
 Week 2: Deep Dive into Personal Development & Goal Setting
Objective: Help clients set personal development goals and create actionable plans.

 Week 3: Conflict Management and Communication Skills
Objective: Equip clients with strategies for managing conflict and improving communication.
 Review of Week 2
Briefly discuss the progress on personal goals and action plans.
Understanding Conflict
Discuss types of conflict (personal, professional) and why conflict occurs. Introduce conflict resolution styles. Active Listening & Effective Communication
Teach active listening skills: paraphrasing, validating emotions, and focusing on the speaker.
Introduce the importance of "I" statements in conflict management (e.g., “I feel [emotion] when [situation]”). Role-Playing Conflict Scenarios
Practice conflict management techniques through role-playing exercises.
Encourage clients to apply active listening and use “I” statements.
Wrap-Up & Reflection

Discuss how to maintain balance and accountability.
Setting Long-Term Goals
Help clients set long-term personal development goals, using the tools and strategies learned throughout the month.
Wrap-Up & Reflection
Reflect on the month’s progress and what strategies clients plan to continue practicing.
Encourage ongoing self-reflection and goal tracking.
Homework: Finalize the action plan and set a timeline for achieving long-term goals. Track progress daily.
