About Anizia
As a university professor in São Caetano, São Paulo, Brazil, I had the privilege of teaching English courses in the fields of Foreign Trade and Computer Science. My experience further expanded when I served as a Manager of Instruction (MOI) at the Berlitz Learning Center in Costa Mesa, California, where I dedicated over eight years to intensive teacher training based on the "Teaching without Translations" method.
Additionally, I was the Director of Training at the Speed Speech Language System, where I developed and taught customized language programs in Portuguese, English, and Spanish for distinguished companies such as Allergan, Behr, and Kingston in California. My organizational skills allow me to maintain an effective and productive learning environment, even under pressure.
In a unique challenge, I acted as a mentor and supervisor for a military program at Camp Pendleton in 2008, where I trained six Arabic teachers to teach 75 Marines Arabic within a 120-hour timeframe. I was responsible for designing and overseeing the program, creating all materials and activities for intensive seven-hour daily sessions over a month. This mission was a success, with all participants achieving fluency in Military Arabic—a crucial language for their operational effectiveness in Iraq, where linguistic nuances can make a life-or-death difference.
With my extensive experience and proven track record, I offer confidence, legitimacy, and professionalism to all my students.

Perfect! Anizia is an incredible tutor. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep up with the lessons at the time, but she's been nothing but great. Extremely friendly and lovable, flexible, knowledgable with great teaching skills and knew exactly when to push me and when to slow down a bit. I'd recommend her in a heart beat to anyone wanting to learn Brazilian Portuguese.
