About Oakley
With 18 years of experience as a flute tutor, I am passionate about guiding students from school to college level in their musical journey and helping them build strong skills and confidence. My experience in music has taught me that patience, discipline, and regular practice are essential for success, and I bring these values into my teaching.
I have worked with many students, supporting them as they progress step by step and achieve their goals. A major milestone in my career has been seeing students perform confidently in various events and competitions.
My teaching approach is clear, patient, and student-focused, emphasizing essential techniques such as breathing control, tone production, finger coordination, and rhythm. I also ensure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students stay motivated.
I believe that music education plays an important role in personal development, and my goal is to inspire students to continue learning and build a strong connection with music.

I use a teaching style based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn flute effectively. I motivate students by encouraging regular practice and recognizing their improvement. Communication allows me to explain each concept clearly, ensuring students understand before moving forward.
I teach with integrity by focusing on proper techniques and steady progress. Creativity helps me make lessons enjoyable by including simple songs and different practice methods. In addition to flute, I also teach basic music theory and listening skills to improve overall performance.
