About Abinav
AR Rahman Foundation and British Council Award-winning vocalist and acclaimed voice educator with over 15 years of experience.
I bring together the rich traditions of Hindustani and Carnatic music with the technique-driven world of Western Classical (Opera). As a postgraduate scholar in voice pedagogy from King's College London, my work blends traditional artistry with cutting-edge voice science to help singers discover their true, healthy, and versatile sound. Over the years, I’ve taught students from all over the world, across age groups and backgrounds: from aspiring playback singers and classical vocalists to contemporary performers, guiding each one to build a voice that lasts.
My approach is rooted in vocal health, voice craft through body awareness, and emotional connection, drawing from Indian classical systems and bel canto training, along with appropriate use of technological advancements to enable best practices.
