I’ve known Ellie for a few years now and she is very passionate about German and French. I am a native German speaker and her German is at near native level. I am confident she will be a fantastic teacher and tutor.

Ellie has a passion for learning languages as she is fluent in both French and German and is always trying to learn other languages whenever she meets someone. She has a friendly and bubbly personality which makes it fun to learn along with her.

I've known Ellie for a few years and she's been inspiring, both as a colleague and a teacher. As soon as I found out how proficient she was in the two languages of which I've always been fond, German and French, I asked her to meet up regularly for a full immersion one to one. In those moments during which I felt less confident, Ellie was there to encourage me. When I was doing well, she helped me cultivate my passion for languages and foreign cultures. This is because Ellie is not only a great teacher, who knows all the little intricacies of French and German but also because she embraces Linguistics with dedication. She transmitted me this aptitude and her lessons have always been varied, interesting and entertaining. She speaks the languages fluently but is also interested in their cultural implications, as well as their historical, geographical processes that influenced and ultimately changed them. It's a bit like travelling and it's been mind-broadening. I'm grateful for Ellie's teachings and for her giving me the chance to look at languages in a different way.
