About Ella
I have been learning Spanish since I was 3 years old and earned my IB seal of biliteracy in Spanish when I graduated high school. I am now pursuing a minor in translation studies in college, specifically studying Spanish and Chinese.

I can help with anything from reading comprehension to editing papers, depending on what you need as a student. If you’re focused on more foundational language skills or practice, lessons could look like this:
- Reading comprehension lessons: listening as you read a text, pausing every few paragraphs or pages to check for understanding.
- Listening comprehension: presenting an audio for the student to listen to and working through a list of questions after a few repetitions to gauge the students understanding.
- Speaking: practice dialogues with pre-written scenarios or with prompts of the student’s choosing.
- Writing: creative writing prompts for the student to practice utilizing content learned in class in a new way.
Otherwise I am happy to assist with or check over homework, proofread papers, or do anything in between (even if that means just chatting in Spanish for a while).
