About Jo
Jo is a trauma-informed yoga teacher with a strong foundation in alignment, nervous-system awareness, and individualized instruction. She has over 1,200 hours of teacher training and is RYT-500 certified. Her teaching method is body-positive, intentional, and highly attuned to each student’s needs. A typical lesson includes a thoughtful check-in, breathwork, aligned movement tailored to the individual, and integration. What sets Jo apart is her ability to combine precision, safety, warmth, and humor, creating a professional yet human environment where students feel respected and supported. Lessons are appropriate for all levels, including beginners, experienced practitioners, and those recovering from injury or trauma.
