I am Zara, a woman who thrives on sharing knowledge and teaching Spanish. I have a genuine passion for helping others discover the beauty of the Spanish language. When I'm not teaching, I'm often out exploring the world, fueled by my love for travel and adventure. Whether it's immersing myself in the vibrant cultures of Spanish-speaking countries or discovering new cultures across the globe, I embrace every opportunity to broaden my knowledge and bring those experiences back to my teaching! I like playing football, but also you'll find me surfing on a longboard or playing the guitar. Surfing provides me with a sense of freedom and connection with nature, which I love too. As your Spanish teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge, a spirit of adventure, and a passion for diverse interests. ¡Vamos a aprender español juntos! :) (Let's learn Spanish together!)

Whether you're interested in conversational Spanish, business communication, or cultural exploration, I'll customize the lessons accordingly. I use a variety of authentic resources, such as videos, articles, songs, and games. Throughout the lessons, I encourage open dialogue, questions, and active participation. I provide constructive feedback and correction to help you with your pronunciation, grammar, and overall language proficiency. Perfect! The lessons are super informative and I feel that every class I can walk away with more information then I entered the lesson with. The lessons themselves are super enjoyable and relaxed as well. The way that the lessons are planned out works very well, I never feel like they are packed with a lot of information or not enough information which is awesome. There is also a mix of different ways that the lessons are taught and that all depends on what type of learner you are which, in my opinion, is the most important thing as a student. I highly recommend Zara to all levels of spanish!

Both boys have an excellent attitude in class, are punctual, and learn very quickly.
Dylan is very committed to the language and enjoys it, which I think is the most important thing.
Bailey has a really good humor, he learns quickly and is not afraid to make mistakes which is very good when learning a new language! he learns very quickly too.

I love the richness of the Spanish language. The official language of Spain is Spanish, however the people of Spain refer to their language as castellano rather than español. Castellano has deviated into other languages according to the cultural diversity of Spain, and they are an important part of the Spanish cultural patrimony.
Why does speaking this language matter to you?
Spanish is the world's second most spoken language, with over 477 million speakers. Whether you are looking for new work opportunities or want to learn more about the rich, and historically important culture of the country, learning to speak Spanish will open the door to a world of new opportunities.
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
The main difficulty in learning the Spanish language can vary depending on the individual. However, some common challenges for English speakers learning Spanish include: I would say first, pronunciation, verb-conjugation , grammar, vocabulary... To help you facilitate the process of learning Spanish, here I can give you some strategies: to take formal classes immersion, Practice with native speakers, language exchange, consistency...

When I was working as a guide in Scotland, I didn't understand the Scots who lived in the small villages in the mountains. .... It was such English that I thought they were speaking Gaelic! Because there is a percentage of the population there who speak it, but it was indeed English...
How has travel or a particular trip helped you to increase your language knowledge and skills?
They have helped me to have a considerable level of fluency, after living in English-speaking countries for more than 6 years.
