About Emanuel
He began his studies at the Sociedade Filarmónica Silvarense, continuing his studies at the Academia de Música e Dança do Fundão. He obtained his degree at the University of Évora and later his Master's in Music Teaching at the University of Aveiro.
He currently teaches trumpet classes at the Maria Campina Regional Conservatory in Faro and at the social project “Orquestra Geração”. He is a member of the Beira Brass Band, a fanfare from the Fundão/Castelo Branco area and of the Keep Kalm Banda also from the same region.

During his academic career, he participated in several projects, festivals and youth orchestras, highlighting his participation in the project "MIMA" (Portugal), Aurora Chamber Music (Sweden), Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival (Italy), Varna International (Bulgaria ) and Aus Licht (Netherlands).
During his professional development, he had the opportunity to work with nationally and internationally renowned conductors such as: Leonardo de Barros, Luis Carvalho, Andre Granjo, Leif Sergestam, Johannes Gustavssson, Kamal Khan, Leonardo Catalanotto, Jonathan Santagada, Gregory Buchalter, Mitch Fennel, among others. others.
In addition to conductors, he worked with trumpeters such as: Sérgio Pacheco, Pierre Dutot, Luiz Gonzáles, David Burt, Steven Mason, Pacho Florez, Manu Mellaerts, Omar Tomasoni, Gabor Tarkovi, Ales Kenklar, Erwin ter Bogt, Gertjan Loot, Theo Wolters and Steven Verhaert among others.
At a professional level, he was invited by Maestro Gregory Buchalter to reinforce the Bulgarian “Pazarzhik Symphony Orchestra” and the “Ashdod Symphony Orchestra” as part of the Varna International project.
In 2018/2019 he participated in the Joahn de Meij Festival where he played with the Ensemble Klang and also played with the Asko|Schonberg ensemble, where he premiered the work “Soul Canoe" by Tansy Davis at the ConcertGebow in Amsterdam.
In 2020, he played with the Orquestra Clássica do Sul under the direction of conductor Rui Pinheiro
