About Talia
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 18 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I strongly believe that strong English skills are important for academic success and future opportunities. Over the past four years, I have taught around 150–200 students, helping them gain confidence and clarity in communication.
My teaching approach is flexible and student-focused, emphasising real-life communication and clear explanations. One of my greatest achievements has been helping students break language barriers and speak English confidently in academic and everyday settings. I believe learning should be motivating and enjoyable. My goal is to help students grow into confident and effective English communicators.

My teaching approach for ESL is student-focused, simple, and interactive. I design lessons based on the student’s level, goals, and learning pace to make English learning practical, motivating, and enjoyable.
Motivation is an important part of my teaching. I encourage students with positive feedback and achievable targets. Communication is emphasised in all lessons through speaking, listening, and real-life conversation practice.
Creativity makes lessons interesting. I use role plays, stories, visuals, and practical exercises to help students remember and apply what they learn. Time management ensures lessons are organised, productive, and well-paced.
Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, grammar fundamentals, vocabulary development, pronunciation, business communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My goal is to help students use English confidently in daily life and professional settings.
