About Alex
I am a computer science student in the 5th semester and also some classes in physics. I have already given private tutoring lessons for over 4 years to a total of 7 students privately and helped them all successfully through their exams or respective goals.

I usually let my students try first to solve some exercises from class or just make my own based on the course material to find the problems of each student individually if they do not already know them. I then try to have both the current learning material understood, as well as the previous gaps in understanding filled, in order to prepare the student as best as
I possibly can for the rest of the year. I approach it with patience and never try to make them feel as if something should already be understood, even if I have already explained it. Instead I just try to explain it in more detail. In addition, I do not tell them solutions immediately, even if there are errors, but ask questions and provide explanations until the student realises something about his answer must be wrong. This way, the reason for the mistake get embedded deaper in the mind and the student can remember and avoid mistakes in the future by him/herself.
