About John
As a Deering Banjos and Eastman Guitars/Mandolin artist, I have spent the past 30 years as a professional touring multi-instrumentalist and have a great passion for traditional Irish and Bluegrass music. When I was learning, it was difficult to obtain tuition on many of the instruments I play so I now enjoy passing on my knowledge to those who are keen to learn - hopefully making their journey easier.

I use a multi-camera set up via Zoom.
Take it at your pace and everything we cover will be sent to you as a pdf for you to work on. Backing tracks can also be arranged.
I teach Scruggs style 5-string Bluegrass Banjo and Traditional Irish on Tenor Banjo, whistle and Uilleann Pipes.
