About Beyza

Merhaba! This is Beyza. I am a Turkish Australian living in Chester, UK. I am a Linguist. I graduated from the number one linguistic university in Turkey, Ankara University, with honors degree. I also obtained Teaching Turkish As A Foreign Language Certificate from Istanbul University. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners for years, both online and face-to-face. I tried to learn totally different languages like Hindi, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese and German and I survived in these countries. Having struggles of learning a new language, I am now preparing my own Turkish book series to share all my experience and academic knowledge with all Turkish enthusiasts around the world. I am here to be your guide in your Turkish learning journey, with all my academic background, my own language learning and teaching experience.

About the lesson

I aim to engage my students with Turkish speaking exercises extensively, providing a natural absorption of the language. I believe in building a strong foundation in comprehension and spoken Turkish. I will prepare an individual program for each of my students depending on the aim. I will support you with enough documentation or suggestions, as well as homework. Reading and speaking will be the priorities. I will be here to practice Turkish with you whenever you need, and you will confidently reach your goal.

I learnt Turkish from scratch with Beyza and started studying about a year and a half ago. Now I continue with weekly lessons to improve my Turkish. She speaks English perfectly, which is really important to understand the logic of complex words or sentences full of suffixes. She is always there to help you between lessons. She is a kind and funny person with a great sense of humour. We are now lifelong friends. Choosing her was the best decision I ever made.
