My teaching philosophy is 'whatever works'. SLT Methodology has wide range from translation, grammar drills, conversational practices, writing composition, to watching movies and song clips and even cartoon. I am flexible to accommodate each student preference and inclination and needs. Though, each language has basics that needs to be covered and only the activities that anchor the knowledge in practice differs.
My education from Preschool till high school was in the French School Sacred Heart College. I received my bachelor from the Faculty of Languages, Major in French-Arabic translation and Minor in French Literature XVIIIe century. I decided to return to school and pursued a part time degree at University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a 3.8 GPA. I taught at university level and as a tutor. I am passionate about languages and cultures transfer. I believe that second languages acquisition (SLA) if not for career advancement, it is an personal enrichment experience through the mental process incorporated. In fact, learning a new language can be a way to open your mind, activate your memory and enhance your quality of life.
