About Rara
I have worked as a tutor, teacher and academic historian at the middle, high school and college levels. My graduate work at University College London focused on collective histories of housing justice and community self-governance in Washington, D.C. I am passionate about tutoring as learning expands and opens so many possibilities in students' lives. I am looking forward to learning alongside you!

Hi, I’m Rara. I am passionate about history, literature, and the power of storytelling. I have worked as a tutor, teacher and academic historian with students at the middle school, high school and college levels. I believe learning should be fun and should center your passions and skillset; I am here to learn alongside you and support your learning goals! My teaching style is highly interactive, inquisitive and participatory with the intention for you to deepen your command of the subjects and material we are co-learning. I tutor at the middle, high school and college levels.
I am happy to support on all subjects relating to social studies, history, art and art history, language arts, writing, reading and grammar. I am looking forward to working with you!
