About Tina

Bilingual
Educated in Greece and the UK.
Doctoral studies at UCL, one of the top universities in the world for Classics.
Have taught Ancient and Modern Greek at UCL and in manyUK schools as a substitute tutor.
Owned my own language school in Athens, Greece.
Currently working as a marking interlocutor at Peoplecert whilst teaching Ancient Greek for A levels and IB as a private instructor.

About the lesson

Lessons in Ancient Greek are adressed to all levels.
The same , of course, applies for Modern Greek lessons.
A few words on my teaching method: targeted sessions that focus on the student's needs and preferences (e.g. emphasis on ancient Greek grammar and syntax or the analysis of texts and/or any preferences on genres: one might be more interested in Homer than, say, tragedy and so on).
On Modern Greek: be it conversational Greek or professional, academic, the right books and educational resources are used.
I cannot promise any miracles, but I can guarantee efficiency and honesty when interacting with my students. My aim is also to learn from my students on how one learns a language.
