About Jason

All students can be successful, I believe, by following this process:

a) having the access to the correct theory and knowledge
b) following a repetitive process acquire a strong knowledge base
c) getting extra practice and help with homework when needed

My aim, as a tutor, is to help students with:

a) understanding the concepts and learning outcomes of their curriculums
b) establishing the importance and value of consistent homework practice
c) removing any obstacles or roadblocks, impeding their progress.

From there, the responsibility rests with the students to put in the hard work and practice studying the theory and correct responses for the material they've been provided by their class leaders.

I have been following this approach myself since successfully passing the CFA exams on three consecutive attempts over ten years ago, still my strongest academic accomplishment to date.

About the lesson

Initial free lesson (30 minutes) can be performed online, to gain a better understanding of whether the relationship will be a good fit for the student and myself.

Bigger picture conversations about the student's specific studying needs and any additional resources or materials that may be required as part of the studying plan, may also be part of the discussion.

From there, we can completely tailor any future sessions based on the student's individual needs, and study objectives. This may include conversations about whether it is preferable to meet and practice online, or in a shared physical location, be it a library, school, or otherwise.

I am able to prepare additional study and practice materials, at additional costs, if required. These may include practice questions, mock exams, and any additional case studies or practice assignments that you may feel will help to further your goals.

In most cases, practice study sessions with students involve going over the most challenging coursework and questions together, providing additional insights and clarity, when needed.
