About Jonathan
My name is Jonathan Folmar, but my friends and family call me "Jon Ross"; I'm happy with either. I am 20 years old, and I am a master's student at the University of Alabama. I am very extroverted, and I love meeting new people. I'm a big science nerd and I love the outdoors. A fun fact about me is that I failed my driver's license test four times.

The first thing I do in a lesson is asses the student's concerns and what they want to gain from the lesson. Whether that be a specific topic, a textbook question, or an entire lesson. Additionally, during a lesson after we have worked through material, I like to give a few practice problems to gauge what we learned, and finally I send the student home with a practice problem that they can email to me any time throughout the week, and I will get back to them with the solution. My role as a tutor is to aid students in any way I can to help them achieve their academic goals. For me details about specifics, please feel free to reach out!
