About Scott
In college I earned my BS in chemistry and a minor in Mathematics and Physics. I further advanced my chemistry education with an MS in Chemistry. In my undergraduate and graduate studies I also was a teaching assistant. I had a few semesters of teaching a General Chemistry laboratory and a few semesters teaching a General Chemistry recitation. These experiences gave me a chance to tutor one on one or in a group. Currently, I use my education for an analytical contract lab to determine the composition of gas phase samples.

Each student has different challenges. I try to build on the what the student knows so the student can understand more challenging concepts. I like to use example problems to help students understand the concepts. Then I see if they can accomplish problems with little assistance.
