About Paul
M.A. from Cal State, Dominguez Hills (1989). Thirty-year member of the Hegel Society of America. Personal correspondence with Will Durant and Morton Smith in the late 20th century. Online with Hegel groups since 1995, including Villanova, Yahoo, and Google. Hegel studies involve familiarity with all major philosophers from the pre-Socratics through Hegel. I have also studied Nietzsche in depth, as well as his post-modern followers.

Hegel treated Philosophy as a single 2,200-year story about the evolution of Reason in society. All Western philosophers worthy of Reason are covered in the course. For Hegel, "Reality is Rational." The fall of Reason under Nietzsche's Antichrist Will to Power has led to postmodern Irrationalism, which is worthy of analysis. Bertrand Russell's Analytical School was a laudable regression to Aristotle's Prior Analytics using Frege's symbolic form, but neglected Hegel's Dialectical Logic.
