About Haylee

I have been tutoring for 8 years and I have a passion for teaching! I love watching my students succeed and gain confidence in the course material that they are struggling with. I am very kind and patient and take the time learn each student's learning style, as each person learns differently. I then teach my clients according to how they learn best. I will always support my students and inspire confidence within them!

About the lesson

I have 8 years of tutoring experience and I have experience tutoring students of all ages in a variety of subjects! The subjects I tutor the most are English, science, math, history, economics, business, and psychology. For science I tutor biology, chemistry, earth science, health, and general science. For math I tutor everything from basic counting to calculus. For English I tutor all ages in reading and writing. For history I tutor every subject that is taught from 6th grade thru 12th grade.

I am very upbeat and I implement positive reinforcement strategies with all of my students. I take the time to truly get to know each student and figure out how they learn best. From this, I tailor my teaching method so it is personalized to each student, that way they feel supported and produce the best work possible.

I specialize in tutoring students that have special needs, learning disabilities, and other disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, and depression. I am very familiar with helping students piece together anything they aren't understanding from not being physically in class, as the majority of my tutoring experience is with kids that are a part of a homeschool or independent study program.

In undergrad I was pre-med and double majored in human biology and psychology with an emphasis in child development. My graduate degree is a master of business administration with a concentration in finance. I will put forth the utmost effort in making sure your child succeeds in school while enjoying learning!
