About John
Hello Parent and/or Student,
I have taught a wide variety of subjects in public and Christian Schools. My strengths are with the sciences, general math and algebra, writing and public speaking.
I have also tutored college Algebra and substituted for teachers many times. I have directed science fairs for three schools, totaling 13 years of service. I have a strong Christian viewpoint of life and education.
Most of my experience lies with working within nationally known companies, NISOH and the USAF.
I believer that my strength is that I am more able than most teachers to make the connections between academics and the workforce. In other words, what is important and why it is important, and the keys to a advancing in a job or career - or college, if that is your goal.
Another strength I have is in regard to writing and public speaking.
I am slightly flexible as to cost depending upon the situation of each student.

I have a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University with hours toward veterinary medicine. Later, I attended Miami University of Ohio accomplishing courses in Calculus, Organic Chemistry for Chemistry Majors, Programming, and others as groundwork for a Masters degree in Pharmacology.
While working with Procter & Gamble and other companies I became proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Having experience the trials of being down-sized three times, I accomplished courses in Residential Electrical Wiring (Certification), OSHA 30 certificate, and a number of minor achievements.
