About Tegan
As a person, I am extremely caring and will always put your needs at the forefront of our work. We will work together to find what techniques work best for you to ensure that the help you receive is tailored to and effective for you. Every week, we will discuss if you can see a noticeable difference with your knowledge and confidence. If you do not feel like our sessions are working, I will be more than happy to try different techniques to overcome boundaries and do my absolute best to get your grades up for your exams! Everyone is capable of progressing themselves so as long as you want the support, I will be there to support you every step of the way. I also understand that exams can cause an ungodly amount of stress. Therefore, if your wellbeing is being affected by the anxieties surrounding your studies, I can also help you by providing tips on how to better manage emotions during stressful times.

My lessons are for people who are studying health and social care as either GCSE or A-Levels (levels 2 and 3). As a tutor, I will work to build your confidence and knowledge by using techniques that work best for you. It is important to acknowledge that everyone works differently. Therefore, we will work together to find what techniques are best suited to you in order to boost your progress to the maximum amount possible. Typically, a lesson will be between 30 minuets to an hour (you can decide what will work best for you). The lessons will also take place online via a video chat. My qualifications are a GCSE in health and social care at grade Distinction and an A-Level in health and social care at grade Merit (distinction in all coursework). I have been supporting in health and social care academically in a mainstream college for the last academic year. Therefore, my knowledge on this subject is extremely fresh and up to scratch with the current syllabus. I have worked one on one with a student in the classes that I have been in. This has given me an experience with what it would be like to tutor a young person who is taking their exams.
