About Meia
Hello! I am Meia. I am a recent honors graduate from Brennan high school, and a soon to be engineering student at Spelman College in the spring. I have always had a passion for learning and connecting with others and to me tutoring youth was the best way I could give back to the community. Some other hobbies of mine include working out, playing video games and simply hanging out with friends.

My tutoring lessons are cratered towards kids ages 8-14, who are having a hard time understanding mathematical operations and concepts. What sets me apart from others is my ability to recognize and adapt to the unique learning styles of my clients to help them better understand the topics they struggle with. My teaching approach, as I would describe, is very hands on and affirmation based and a typical lesson involves structured activities (varies by age), worksheets among other things depending on learning style.
