As a music degree graduate and years of experience teaching in public and private schools with a specialization in singing, piano, audition prep, music theory, history and musical theater, I bring a high level of professionalism and expertise to my teaching practice. First and foremost to study music ,and how to play an instrument, students need a qualified, professional, and experienced music teacher. I bring all these qualities while inspiring my students with enthusiasm and passion for music for each lesson. The lessons are designed to accommodate age, experience, learning styles and individualized goals.
There is great importance in teaching and helping the student understand fundamental music theory. In each lesson they will personalize and shown how it all relates to music as they enhance their musical skills. I will develop practical goals that I feel they can achieve at a pace that meets their needs and music capability. Through patience, fun and engagement, listening, positive critiquing, identifying areas that need improvement, together we will strive to achieve success. I will help my students prepare a record- keeping strategy such as a musical journal. I will record notes for the parents or individual of what was taught in the lesson so they have something to refer to between lessons.
