About Nour
Hello! I am currently a first year medical student at the University of Manchester and I completed my A levels in 2025 achieving A*A*A, studying OCR A level Biology, Chemistry and AQA Psychology. As well as receiving 4/4 medical offers from; Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and Hull York. I have gained previous experience tutoring throughout my academic career through science focused peer mentoring programmes as well as volunteering at a local charity offering educational support for local underprivileged children. Having done both my exams and interviews recently, I have a unique insight into the experience and have a detailed understanding of specifications and mark-schemes and what universities are looking for, allowing me to provide relevant, specific advice. I believe that it's important to allow students to feel comfortable in answering even when not 100% sure allowing them, to build their confidence so they are able to fulfil their full potential!

I tutor OCR A level Biology and AQA A level Psychology, as well as offering tutoring for medical interviews. I have previous experience tutoring teens of various ages throughout their academic career, and use a range of techniques such as flashcards, exam questions and active recall, adapted for each student. In our first session, I will test your general subject knowledge through the use of both past paper questions and my own questions, assessing your confidence levels on different areas of the spec, as well as asking if you have any areas that you would like to focus on. Following this assessment, we can put a plan in place together to target these weak areas, allowing you to gain confidence. I hope to create a comfortable environment where students feel able to make mistakes and grow from them, mastering difficult topics with ease!
