Kia Ora, I am a mama of three. An active, fun, bubbly person that loves a good laugh. I have always had a passion for my culture and our Reo Māori. I was raised returning to my homeland in Pipiwai often. It was there I learnt to be proud of who I am and where I am from. For me it's paramount that Te Reo maori survives, for the next generation and the preceding generations and I am willing to teach anyone that is willing to learn the native tongue of Aotearoa. Nau mai, whakatau mai.

About the lesson

WFusing my experience as a Kōhanga teacher, Marae student and a Kura Kaupapa avid supporter I have designed my classes to be relevant, interactive and a whole lot of kōrero. Te Reo Māori is such a fun language to learn with its own world attached. Nau mai, haere mai ki Aotearoa!

A typical 1 hour lesson with me includes starting traditionally with an opening karakia then moving into a mihi.
ALL LESSONS WILL FORMALLY OPEN AND FORMALLY CLOSE. there is no need to panic i will teach you how.

After all the formal stuff we will ease into learning with a Whakatauki of the week followed by sentence structures and kupu hou. Ending off with back and forth korero.
