About Abdul

I have graduated from Aston University in Biomedical Science with a 2:1 classification with honours. I am currently working at the Queen's Medical Centre and also working in the technology field as a Consultant.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching and I am very passionate about the success of my students, knowing that I have changed a student's perspective and understanding on a topic they initially found difficult really makes it all worthwhile.

About the lesson

For 16 years, I have been teaching Maths, English Science and 11Plus entrance exam prep to members of my family and to students of various ages and abilities. By having a high variance in my student's abilities I am able to teach complex concepts in simple terms, this allows for the student to no longer feel anxious on a topic matter.

Many of my students have successfully passed 11+ entrance exams and interviews to top grammar schools in the UK!

Furthermore, I have a vast amount of experience teaching younger children in all subjects and I am able to make the lessons fun and interactive for the student so it doesn't feel like a chore to learn!

I am offering to teach from primary all the way up to A level in various subjects. My strongest topics are the sciences and mathematics and I teach English up to KS3.

I often focus on topics that may be outside of the curriculum in order to increase student's broader understanding of a topic as well as how what they have learned applies to real life.
