About Nora
I am a Physics tutor with over a decade of teaching experience and a BSc in Physics with Computational Science. My lessons are designed to bring clarity through the use of simulations and virtual labs. These tools are especially powerful when teaching thermodynamics and statistical mechanics. They allow students to see energy transfer, entropy, and molecular behaviour in a visual way. I am passionate about making abstract ideas accessible and relatable. I connect theory to everyday life, showing how physics explains machines, weather, and natural processes. My strength lies in helping students build strong problem-solving skills alongside conceptual understanding. Lessons are interactive, encouraging curiosity and exploration. I also integrate computational science to show how equations predict real behaviour. This makes learning both rigorous and exciting. Over the years, I’ve helped students turn confusion into confidence. I believe anyone can succeed with the right guidance and practice. Join me in discovering the physics of heat, work, and microscopic order.

I teach Physics in a way that is relaxed, practical, and connected to engineering applications. My focus is on subjects like materials science, fluid dynamics, and statics and dynamics in structures. These are areas that directly influence real designs, and I make sure students understand their importance. I use case studies like how bridges stand strong or how fluids move in turbines. Simulations and computational tools are also part of my lessons to make learning more visual. I want students to see equations as guides, not just numbers. My lessons focus on problem-solving and applying physics to realistic challenges. I encourage curiosity and help students think like engineers. I support learners who want to improve as teachers, researchers, or professionals. Each session is tailored to the student’s pace but always emphasises clarity and confidence. Physics becomes easier when linked to real outcomes. My teaching helps students excel while keeping lessons engaging. Together we explore physics as the foundation for engineering solutions.
