About Isha
I'm an Economics major with a minor in Japanese. I've tutored students for 8-9 years, and have broad experience helping students improve their English and reading scores. I've worked in university ESL classrooms, and have experience teaching Japanese in high school classrooms. I also have experience with test prep, including AP Japanese, SAT Japanese w/ Listening, SAT Reading, and the LSAT for students preparing to enter law school.

I like to cater my approach to my students. For students who want to start an independent course, I make lesson plans using verified classroom materials. For students looking for help with their existing classes or exams, I'm happy to take a more supportive approach by supplementing and guiding based on students' classroom objectives. All in all, I avoid "giving" students answers, preferring to help students cultivate life-long skills to solve challenging questions on their own.
