About Richard
A lot of the students that I have tutored improved their math scores two letter grades. All three students that I tutored desiring to enter the top public school in Ohio or an exceptional local private school passed the school’s entrance exam. I believe that virtually every student if given the appropriate training and encouragement can overcome any inferiority or fear they might have of mathematics.

First understand the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Primarily work on weaknesses to develop students’ confidence, enthusiasm, and enjoyment of mathematics.
Also make sure student understands and can apply what is currently being covered in class and assigned homework.
Monitor that assignments and homework are being completed appropriately and the grades throughout the period are meeting expectations, and if not address the issue(s).
