About Alex
I have experience teaching STEM concepts at the University level, and have helped tutor math and physics at levels ranging from middle school to College prep.
I have also studied education in a personal capacity and value the process of learning a student's need, and tailoring my teaching style to fit those needs.
I pride myself on clear, direct communication, and a results-oriented approach to study.

For my lessons we will agree on goals ahead of time, and identify a path to those goals in our meeting, and then pursue those as needed.
I will prepare examples and practice work ahead of time, and be available during some times for consult about difficult questions. I excel at exam prep, and other specific tasks, but my deepest passion is for exploring the core concepts behind a subject, and building a rock solid foundation for future educational growth.
