About Jason
Tutored groups of students in Undergraduate Physiology, Cell Biology, and Chemistry. I believe the largest group of students I tutored was about 40 before they had a chemistry exam on Thermodynamics. I couldn't tell what my students have achieved in terms of grades to be honest. I've TA'ed Chemistry & Organic laboratory and assisted in preparing substances and
equipment for said experiments, which involved handling some pretty hazardous substances which was cool, except for Diazomethane. After my first semester of undergrad chem I was placed in the special placement class for spring semester chem students and that's when my formal tutoring career began, however classmates have approached me needing help on a certain topic since I was in the 10th grade. I apologize in advance if that sounds egotistic. At the current moment, I'm working on research involved in theoretical computational chemistry investigating a phenomenon known as Y-aromaticity, whilst preparing to graduate and go on to graduate school.

Currently a senior attending University studying Physics (B.A) and Biochemistry (B.S) with a minor in Neuroscience. I have plans on attending graduate school to earn a Ph.D in Physical Chemistry, currently waiting on Northwestern's decision on my application *fingers crossed*. Teaching isn't about memorization, it's about understanding the mechanism and principles of why something happens. This breeds intuition into the student, and eventually one becomes to "think" like a scientist/lawyer ect. It's my belief that if you can't convey a concept you believe you understand to another person, then you do not know enough about the subject. The real problem in speech is not precise language. The problem is clear language.

I don't mind much on the students level or the travel unless it requires me to drive more than 15-20 miles from my location.
