About Ellen
I'm a diligent student and a responsive tutor with half a year of experience. I aim to create lessons for the tutee to really engage with, whether it's reviewing content or working on exam technique. Listening to the tutee's needs is also a top priority. My first year of University learning was asynchronous so I have a good understanding of online learning and the revision methods best suited to this form of education. I have also held many positions that have involved working with children and teens that I have enjoyed thoroughly.

- In terms of tutoring style, I embed active recall and spaced repetition as I believe these methods best ensure that the content is not only understood but also remembered. However, I also recognise that every student is different so I aim to tailor my approach to the needs of each tutee. - Prep includes reviewing the material, exam specification, and assessment objectives. - A typical lesson is 50-60 mins but I'm flexible - I excel at teaching A-Level students as the content as well as my tips and tricks for each subject are most familiar to me
