About Carolyn
I spent over 20 years overseas and co-founded Evangelical Christian Academy on the U.S. Territory island of Guam. Returning to Sarasota in 2021, I co-founded SonHaven school with two locations and presently the Academic Renewal Konnection where I tutor home-schoolers. I provide Progress REPORTS and home-schoolers do not have to register with the county as we are recognized by the county. I have an earned Bachelor's degree in Ministry and Theology, a Master's degree and PhD, EdD in Counseling Psychology. I am certified in the U.S. territory of Guam which is recognized in the U.S.

If in public school bring own materials otherwise we provide all learning materials. We teach grades K-12 as well as online assistance with college subjects. We also offer Japanese as a foreign language. We are registered with Sarasota County as a non-traditional private school.

Details
If you register as a student with us and are home-schooled you will pay a book fee of $85 per trimester. We are basically year-round and operate on 16 week trimesters. If in high school you will receive a recognized transcript. Credits are transferable from other schools.
