About Maxim
I have a 4.0 GPA and I am a senior in high school. I got mastery level scores on all my NYS regents exams. I am currently taking AP Calculus and have mastered all the math which goes before it. I have tutored the entire Algebra II course to a student so that they take the regents exam in August. I also lifeguard and teach swim lessons at the YMCA. I speak Ukrainian, so if anyone needs to have lessons in Ukrainian or have explanations in Ukrainian for an easier understanding then I can do that also. I have a strong love for math and it has always been my favorite subject.

My lessons involve going off my notes from when I took the classes if it’s the same class, and if there are curriculum changes or it’s a different kind of course then I make note of that. Every class will involve many practice questions and examples of me doing the problems. I treat tutoring like how I do when I teach swim lessons: demonstrate, let the students try, give tips to fix it up, and then let them keep trying.
