About Baili
Hi, there !! My name is Baili and I'm a senior at Spelman College. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana which is where I found my love for tutoring children. I started working for a Non-Profit organization called STEM NOLA during the beginning of the pandemic. We taught kids about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We built kits with them such as remote control cars, small wooden bridges, slime, etc. I was also a part of the mathematics program which included doing mathematical activities in order for students to get a better grasp of what they're learning in class. I also tutored children virtually after class three days a week as well as being the operations specialist for K -2nd grade, making sure students get the right materials for the lessons and activities that we were going to do for that particular week. I am very excited and dedicated to teaching your children about how great math can be and how it is all around us.

I tutor 2nd - 4th grade mathematics and on occasion a couple of levels higher. My lesson plans include small lessons in the beginning to summarize what your children are learning in class and then practice problems shortly after. There are some harder questions squeezed in the lesson plans as well just to see where they're at with understanding what has been taught. I don't just want your kids to do their homework and pass their tests, I want them to truly understand mathematics and fall in love with it like I did.
