About Collin
My name is Collin Parker. I am currently a PhD student in applied mathematics at Washington State University. I have a B.S. in pure mathematics and a minor in physics from the University of Nevada, Reno.
I am currently a Teaching Assistant at WSU. This means I am in charge of teaching my own introductory college level courses. I have also taught math courses at the community college level for 2 years.
I also have 8 years of tutoring experience, both in public tutoring centers and private tutoring. I was a shift leader for 2 years at the UNR math center, in charge of monitoring the effectiveness of the other tutors in the facility.

If I'm teaching you, I will not aim to have you memorize a myriad of facts. Instead, we will build the content material alongside one another. We will start with examples that introduce new topics. Then we will identify patterns in the questions that will eventually be generalized.
