About Marcus
I have been tutoring since I was a university student. Since then, I have become a secondary school teacher specializing in math and sciences. Currently I work part time with a tutoring institution in Vancouver, as well as I tutor privately. I get inspired and filled with joy when students I teach gains new knowledge and/or reaches new depth in their understanding.

I tutor all math and science subjects from grades 4-12 including exam preparations and SAT preparations. Typical math lesson will start with going through theory and/or examples, and students will be working on some exercises on their own for a while to further their understanding about the topic of the day. I like to keep the atmosphere friendly so that students can ask questions about the subject freely.

Details
Basic rate is 30$/h.
Depending on amount of preparation required it might get increased (for higher levels) or decreased (for lower levels).
Webcam rates are discounted since I believe I can provide more face to face, and less material cost.
Pack rates and group rates available upon negotiation.
I won't charge travel cost unless I need to travel really far and becomes expensive.
