About Aly
I am a University student who has been tutoring students grades 5-11 on the side for over three years. I’m currently taking a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Chemistry. I have also taken high school and post-secondary courses in biology, physics, medical sciences and many other STEM related topics.

I believe that students should be able to learn at their own pace and deserve the help they need in the subjects they may struggle with. I am personally a visual and kinematic learner, which means when I teach a topic I try to make it as simple as possible for the student to understand, and provide different ways of thinking around the topic. When struggling with the ideas of a subject I strive to apply the problem to real life examples, allowing the student to view the question in a more tangible way.
