I think it is very important to know how to adapt to ones learning skills. Adaptation is the key to success in any environment. Teaching should be no different. My approach to teaching is to take the students own learning strengths, and adapt them into my lesson plans in ways that feel relatable to the student, and in ways that feel inviting to them. I go into teaching with an openness about English. There is never a wrong answer, only endless possibilities.
I started tutoring others in high school. I was an academic peer mentor very early on. I realized that helping, and teaching others was something that I was passionate about. I assisted teach a work and professionalism readiness class at the brotherhood crusade in 2019. I then went on to graduate from UCLA in the following year in the focus of English. I will be attending again in the upcoming year to further my education, but right now, I am focused on completing my manuscript, and tutoring others.
Rates may vary depending on the distance of travel. There may be a 5-10 dollar up-charge (in total, not hourly) if travel time lasts more than 25 minutes to and from destinations. Other than that, there will be no up-charge depending on students readiness or expertise. It does not matter to me where a student's journey begins. Is is my duty to help them finish strong, no matter where they start.
