About May

Hello there! I'm May, a Year 12 student at Hornsby Girls' High School. I'm passionate about empowering young minds through teaching and tutoring, helping them excel academically.

Among my accomplishments, I have ranked in the top 10% in the Math Olympiad for both 2020 and 2021 and achieved a Distinction in the Math Challenge in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Aside from academics, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, as well as dance and acro.

About the lesson

I offer flexible lesson durations, tailored to your preference, with options of either 30-minute (younger students) or 1-hour sessions.

Specializing in Mathematics tutoring for students ranging from Year 2 to Year 8, my structured approach for weekly sessions involves targeted instruction on a particular skill per lesson, supplemented with a manageable amount of homework. Alternatively, for more casual lessons, I am available to provide assistance with homework or school assignments.

I also offer preparation for NAPLAN, OC and Selective Exams.
