About Maxo

My name is Maxo Boudeau, and I am a highly experienced and passionate math teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and over 22 years of experience teaching high school mathematics, including algebra 1, 2, pre-calculus, calculus, and physics.
My approach to teaching is based on active methodology, where I use practical examples, clear explanations, and one-on-one interaction with students to help them understand mathematical concepts. This approach has made me a well-respected teacher in the field, with a reputation for success in teaching SAT, GMAT, GRE, and I have had students come from abroad to work with me because of my guaranteed results.
My lesson plans are designed to cover the essential objectives and key concepts of each topic, while also promoting hands-on learning, and interaction that encourages participation, work assignments, and feedback. I believe in differentiating instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of my students, and I incorporate technology, such as online simulations and interactive lessons, to enhance the learning experience.

About the lesson

I am a highly experienced math teacher who is dedicated to creating flexible and effective lesson plans that can be tailored to meet the individual needs of my students. My approach to teaching is centered around engaging in interactive methods that help students truly understand and retain mathematical concepts.
I have taught a wide range of math subjects at the high school level, including algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and physics, as well as preparation for the SAT and GMAT tests. My teaching methodology and techniques include:
1. Starting each lesson with a review or warm-up activity to get students in the right mindset for learning.
2. Using clear and concise explanations, visual aids, and real-life examples to present new material.
3. Encouraging student interaction and participation through group work and questions.
4. Providing hands-on learning opportunities with manipulatives, technology, and real-life situations.
5. Offering plenty of practice problems to solidify students' understanding.
6. Assessing student understanding through formative assessments such as quizzes and homework.
7. Providing specific and constructive feedback on students' work.
8. Incorporating technology to enhance learning and engagement.
9. Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students.
