About Javier

With over a decade of experience and currently playing for the University of Arkansas men's soccer team, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game that I’m eager to share with you. My coaching philosophy revolves around creating a relaxed yet intense environment where players can thrive, push their limits, and truly enjoy the sport. Whether you're just starting out or looking to elevate your game to the next level, my goal is to guide you on that journey.

Having trained with some of the best, including professional sessions in Pachuca and with the Guatemalan national team, I have seen firsthand what it takes to compete at the highest levels. These experiences have not only sharpened my skills but have also given me valuable insights into different playing styles, strategies, and what it means to train like a pro. My favorite team, Barcelona, inspires my coaching style—emphasizing skillful play, tactical intelligence, and a deep love for the game.

What sets my sessions apart is the personalized approach I take with each player. I focus on developing a strong technical foundation while also honing tactical awareness, fitness, and mental toughness. I believe in immediate, constructive feedback and tailored drills that address your unique strengths and areas for improvement. My commitment is to help you grow as a player, whether it's mastering a new skill or improving your game understanding.

My lessons are open to players aged 10 and up, of all skill levels—from beginners eager to learn the basics, to advanced players preparing for competitive play. Together, we'll work towards your personal goals, fostering a supportive atmosphere where hard work meets fun.

Join me on the field, and let's take your game to the next level!

-I focus on building strong foundational skills, ensuring players are proficient in basics like dribbling, passing, and shooting. Each session starts with these core skills to build muscle memory and confidence.
-I believe in a hands-on approach with immediate feedback. I observe each player's strengths and weaknesses and tailor drills to address specific needs, whether it's enhancing a technical skill or improving tactical awareness.
-With over 10 years of playing experience, including at the collegiate level, I bring a deep understanding of the game and the demands of competitive soccer.
-I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. My sessions are customized based on each player's current skill level, goals, and learning pace, making sure every session is both challenging and rewarding. Lessons are available for players aged 10 and up, including youth and high school players aiming to improve their skills.
-My sessions cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced players, including those aiming to play competitively or at the collegiate level.
-Most importantly I believe in having fun during sessions and providing a relaxed environment while still pushing each player to do their best and become their best
